Jimms is a consistently great spot for a hearty meal. You really can't go wrong with their ribeye--it's always cooked to perfection--and a pan of mushrooms is a must-have side. The salad bar is a nice touch, though it can get a little crowded during peak times, so just be patient and enjoy the variety. One of the standout features here is the waitstaff--they're always fantastic, friendly, and attentive, which really adds to the experience. That said, the service at the host stand can feel a bit hit-or-miss; a little more warmth there would go a long way in matching the overall vibe. All in all, it's a great spot for a classic steakhouse dinner, and I'd definitely recommend it for a satisfying meal.

Fantastic food and service! Had a wonderful experience over the winter holidays. I got a steak, medium rare, with mashed potatoes and my partner got the mussels, and we shared the stuffed peppers and the brownie too. All delicious and perfectly cooked.

First time here. Food, service, and atmosphere were beyond great. Our server Gavin was very good, personable and on it! I can't say enough positives. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Highly recommend this place.

We had the a steak wrapped asparagus was absolutely delicious. And the salad barn was fresh and delicious. I ordered the bacon wraped shrimp. It was delicious my husband ordered filet minion and it was perfect just melted in your mouth

Jimm's has excellent steaks and fantastic salad bar. Nice quiet atmosphere. We eat there for all special occasions .

We came here by a suggestion from a friend. We're in Springfield for a short work project. Our anniversary just happened to fall into this time. We had the filets. Man they were incredible! Cooked perfectly and the flavor was so so delicious! The sides were awesome, and Paula our server made our visit truly special with her super bubbly personality. She was really really great. We got our dessert to go, and slid on over to their pub for an after dinner drink. This place is 100% what a restaurant should be!

I was looking for a meat coma...and succeeded. Great service and the filet and ribeye were prepared expertly. The chocolate tort put us over the edge. Had to go home to sleep it all off.

We were in from out of town and searched for top steakhouses, and landed on Jimm's. We made a reservation the night before which was super easy. We arrived fairly early so we grabbed a couple seats at the bar for top notch service and drinks. We tried the smoked Old Fashioned, Paloma, and French Martini, all A+! Once we were seated we had great dish after great dish. We started with the stuffed mushroom caps which was a great app for 2. Then we each made a salad from the salad bar. When our entrees came out we were nearly full, but enjoyed them for sure! Pepper crusted & sauced NY strip--A-Mazing! It was cooked just right and the flavor was to die for. 12oz Prime Rib was cooked perfect and seasoned delicious. To top it off, we had Enya as our server and she was PERFECT! She was friendly, energetic, and over the top with great service!

Love JIMM'S! Took my brother to lunch on Saturday and he enjoyed a Reuben Sammie with fries and I had the French onion soup with a one-trip salad bar. YUM! We both took home leftovers. While our server was nice, she frequently would "disappear" for long stretches of time. Still will come back!
